2-Axis machines are the most simple ones, comparing with 3-axis, 4-axis or 5-axis machines. As the name suggests, the movements of the worktable of a 2-axis machine are supported by 2 axes: X-axis and Y-axis. For a 2-axis machine which makes flat brushes, normally X-axis controls the left/right movements of its worktable, while Y-axis controls its forward/backward movements, that's also why most 2-axis machines are used to make flat brushes only, because their worktables only move horizontally (left/right & forward/backward). Among all our 2-axis machines, the high-speed broom tufting machine and 2-axis 3-head brush machine are the most popular ones.

Normally which brushes are made by 2-axis machines?

There are two answers.

1) Flat Brushes

By "flat", it means that the surfaces to be processed are horizontally flat. Please be informed that 2-axis machines cannot make brushes with curved surfaces or spherical surfaces.

2) Some Big Roller Brushes

We have two different 2-axis machine models for producing roller brushes, they are WXD-2A2H01 and WXD-2A2H04. Besides them, all the other models for making roller brushes are 3-axis ones.
