This is an old-style 3-axis 3-head machine with servo motors, with two drilling-heads and a tufting-head, used to make wood hairbrushes with thick filaments (there is only a piece of thick filament in each hole).
With two grippers holding two hairbrushes on worktable, it stops after it finishes a hairbrush, so that operator could take out the finished hairbrush and put in another new hairbrush piece to be processed.
